Business Needs

COINS were looking to improve collaboration & communication across their business and as part of this strategic review were keen to improve the capabilities of their mobile telephony solutions, that would assist a growing business with a global presence. Key requirements included;

Solution

Following an extensive review of COINS specific requirements Fusion Mobile proposed a mobile device management platform to manage iOS, Windows Phone, Android phones and tablets. This management system gave them control over all the devices in their business and gave them the ability to allow any contracts or visitors access to their systems from a mobile device, i.e. bring your own device (BYOD), whilst also providing control over their own Windows Phone devices.

To provide COINSwith a more comprehensive understanding of their mobile billing, Fusion assisted in the migration to the Vodafone network, therefore facilitating the use of the Vodafone online portal.  A bespoke billing option was also built into the solution which gave them the ability to identify VAT by individual mobile user, this was all wrapped with an account manager who proactively helps them with any monthly building queries.

Taking into account the organisations Microsoft centric infrastructure environment, Windows Phone was chosen as the primary device choice for COINS employees, this gave them the very best experience for their email, shared files and making changes to Microsoft Office documents on their mobile devices.

All devices were rolled out configured and ready for use with a key user training programme to make sure the devices were put to best use from day 1.

By introducing them to Vodafone, COINS were put on a pooled data bundle allowance which reduced dongles by 80% as employees could take advantage of mobile tethering. The new Vodafone tariffing also reduced their international data roaming charges by 75%.
